Happy 4th of July! (A Republican State of Mind)

Today on my Republican blog: It’s Independence Day and I just want to give a huge thanks to all of our Armed Forces. As the son of a father who retired from the United States Air Force, I understand the sacrifice, strength and discipline that it takes to be in the military. So on this day, we have to give praise to all those defending our freedom at home and overseas. To all of the Airmen, Soldiers, Marines, Sailors and Reserves: Thank You. Your dedication to this great country will never go unrecognized as long as people like myself are here. So in closing, I’d like to leave you with what we all learned as little children and what our Armed Forces defend every day. Here is the Pledge of Allegiance:

I pledge allegiance
to the flag
of the United States of America
and to the Republic
for which it stands,
one nation,
under God,
indivisible,
with liberty
and justice for all.

So before I go, I’d like to give a very special thanks to our military (what’s up James; told you I’d mention your name!), the RNC, the Missouri Republican Party, the Illinois Republican Party, the College Republican National Committee, the National Black Republican Association, the Wall Street Journal, KSDK Channel 5, and KTVI Fox 2 News.
